About the Role

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Workday Sr. Program Manager to lead large scale/transformational Workday programs. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Technology, Employee Success Partners, Vendors, and other team members to manage the project(s) from initiation through execution and delivery. This seasoned Workday project management professional will have a deep Workday implementation background and significant experience with both Workday Strategy, Configuration and Methodology.

Your Impact

* Lead the successful implementation of large scale, transformation programs within the Workday Domain

* Manage the full BT investments and business outcome accomplishments by facilitating the definition of program objectives, success criteria, scope, governance, schedule, and budget

* In partnership with Employee Success program management, define effective program management processes, structure, roles, and responsibilities to the successful execution and delivery of business objectives

* Communicate with BT executives project updates, milestone achievements, and potential risks for mitigation. Collaborate with Employee Success program management communications.

* Manage multiple project workstreams, providing technology and methodology leadership, ensuring the delivery of innovative and impactive Workday solutions

* Effectively remove blockers and mitigate project risks maximizing team productivity and ensuring delivery

Minimum Qualifications

* 5+ plus years of project management or related experience

* Successfully led at least 3+ Workday HCM enterprise-level cross-functional transformational global programs in the PM or HCM lead space. HCM project manager or HCM certification required

* Ability to understand the configuration and related system business processes

* Ability to drive work independently, identifying solutions, moving them to implementation, and developing long-range strategies

* Develops, maintains, and strengthens partnerships with others inside and outside the project team who provide decision making, information, or support

* Achieves positive outcomes by identifying common interests, clarifying differences, and achieving consensus

* Communicates a clear, vivid, inspiring, and relevant description or picture of project benefits/value to the customer

* Works to improve and reinforce project performance in others; facilitates their skill development by providing clear, specific performance feedback

* Calculates and reports BT Metrics

* Demonstrates mastery in all aspects of Project Management plan-driven methodology, including: Scope Management; Schedule Management; Financial Management; Issue & Risk Management; Vendor, Contract, & Resources Management; Execution Governance / Steering Committees, Monitoring

* Strong business acumen and familiarity with a broad range of business interactions both system and internal process

* Ability to understand the configuration and related system business processes

Preferred Qualification

* Workday Project Management Certification
