Job Summary
Position is responsible for assisting management in HR Shared Services call center with operations, coaching employees, and quality improvement including but not limited to providing timely and accurate reports, data integrity, accuracy and continuity of processes, problem resolution, vendor management, resolving escalated issues, and staff training/education.
Provides direct leadership support over HR Shared Services Compensation Team and Employee Relations & Compliance Team. Preference for candidates with strong leadership experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree, preferably in a related field (HR, Business, Management) required.
Experience: Five (5) years Human Resources/employee benefits administration experience including in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources/employee benefits. Supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and use critical thinking skills to make decisions.
* Must have capacity to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
* Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills.
* Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to interpret policies, contracts, and plan documents effectively and determine when escalation of the issue is appropriate.
* Working knowledge of applicable IRS, DOL and ERISA laws and regulations regarding employee benefit plans.
* Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
* Demonstrated computer skills.
* Ability to create and interpret statistical data.

Principle Accountabilities:
* Monitors, reviews and resolves employee issues on assigned projects. Performs analysis and trending.
* Works closely with Benefits to enhance, streamline, and develop efficient processes.
* Interacts with carriers and vendors for problem resolution regarding plan administration, eligibility reporting, etc. as necessary.
* Completes and maintains quality review measures for process improvement opportunities.
* Functions as a team lead in HR Shared Services by ensuring daily processes are completed up to departmental standards. Processes may include providing answers to employee questions, assisting in employee orientation and training, and assisting with escalated call/issues.
* Coaches and serves as a resource for others.
* Assists with the development of policies and procedures.
* Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
* Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
