Job Description
Central Carolina Hospital
The LPN/LVN provided direct and indirect patient care, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The LPN will:
1. Administer medications
2. Implement treatments
3. Assess patients for change in condition and report to RN any findings
4. Specimen collection
5. Documentation in EMAR
6. Assist with ADLs
7. Provide education to patients and family
8. Follow infection control policies
9. Assist co-workers as needed
10. Assist RN with plan of care
11. Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment
Job Requirements
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Graduate of Licensed Practical Nursing Program is required
Required License:
Licensed Practical Nurse is required
Required Certification:
American Heart Association BLS is required

Our Health Support Center
Our Health Support Center (HSC), in Brentwood, Tennessee, has subject matter expertise in every area of healthcare operations and provider services. The HSC is organized to bring resources to bear across the continuum of care, from before a patient accesses healthcare services to after they are sent home, while keeping quality and compliance at the center.
On a daily basis, our group leaders and subject matter experts are working with our local markets to help develop and implement the right strategies that ensure healthcare thrives in their communities.
