PROJECT MANAGER

Marsh's North America Operations team is looking forward to welcoming a Project Manager to the team. In this role, youll be leading operational excellence change initiatives. These initiatives are aimed at transforming the way we work across our entire value chain: client onboarding, placement, policy servicing and claims. Youll be exposed to the North American leadership team as you will be leading projects that are aimed at creating capacity for our colleagues to better serve our clients. You will be collaborating with our IT partners as we design automation solutions.

In this role, you will be part of a broader Transformation & Change team, comprised of project managers, business analysts and strategy & planning analysts all working in concert to deliver on this transformation program.

In the first 100 days, youll be expected to seamlessly integrate with the team and get up to speed quickly on the work done to date in preparation for project kickoff.

We will count on you to:

* Be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, including the establishment of project plans, milestones, and deliverables in consultation with business stakeholders and external partners, e.g. carriers
* Allocate the duties of the project teams to ensure that all tasks and deliverables are proceeding according to schedule.
* Review regular progress reports from the team and thereafter submit to leadership.
* Facilitate and lead decision-making processes required to move projects along to completion, and make steady and agreed upon progress on assigned programs/projects.
* Develop, enhance, and monitor project management methodologies, ensuring that a streamlined process exists, and provides evidence that all projects are implemented and successfully delivered to meet standards and requirements.
* Identify and escalate issues in a timely manner, while ensuring remediation action plans are implemented
* Build relationships with business, operations, IT and vendor technical staff and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation, manage and mitigate risk, and ensure that a change control process is in place.
* Focus on project delivery not only from a technical implementation perspective but also ensuring user/client adoption and end to end benefit realization
* Ensuring change readiness by formulating and owning change management, communication and training strategies to accompany project delivery
* Identify, implement, and ensure that consistent standards of delivery excellence are disseminated, leveraged, and continuously improved across the organization.

What you need to have:

* 5 to 7 years experience in extensive project management experience from a business perspective
* Experience in Agile methodology
* Domain knowledge in financial services, insurance is highly preferred
* Change management experience
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience with Technology as well as non-technology projects
* Projects that are multi-year and global in nature
