Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Act as the Senior Architect and Technical Lead for a cross-brand team to design, administer, monitor, and manage three cloud environments for the Maverick project. The effort would start in the IBM Public Cloud, with building out the environment based on the system specs, security requirements, environment access needs & permissions, storage needs, backup/recovery needs, etc., in order to stand up the environment - which might include the need for VPCs, routers, public IPs, VPN access, etc. - so that the team can install and configure the software, integrate the various components and provide access to the customer. Once the environment is up and running, the resource would administer the environment, monitor it to make sure everything is healthy, resolve any issues that come up, and so on.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Top Secret//SCI/FSP required on day 1.
* Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud Commercial Services (C2S) migration and development.
* Experience with network architecture, security mobile application, database software installation and maintenance.
* Experience with Java, Hadoop Spark Clusters.
* Experience configuring, automating, provisioning, monitoring, and managing/reporting compliance for software, hardware networks, communications circuits, storage, and backup/recovery in an agile environment.
* Experience using one or more of the following: Citrix, VMware, Linux, Shell Scripting, open source hosting tools, Cisco Networking, provisioning and deploying software.
* Project Management experience.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience with IBM Public Cloud, IBM Cloud Pak 4 Data, IBM Watson Studio, IBM Watson Discovery
* PMP certification
