The data solutions role is a leadership role in Consumer data solutions team to execute digitization initiatives. The incumbent will lead a cross functional team of senior level functional and technical resources to design and develop solutions to address business needs across all business lines of the Consumer bank. The position requires in-depth experience and understanding of financial services business functions, financial/banking use cases, digitization design methods/patterns, and software development methodologies. This position requires close interaction, influencing and collaboration with senior functional and technical leaders, application and enterprise architects, vendor partners (both onsite and offshore), and solution development teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Develop/refine data solutions roadmap for the consumer banks end to end digitization initiative, ensuring alignment to banks overall data & digital strategy
* Interface with various functional leaders to identify business processes that require digitization.
* Lead the overall delivery of solutions by partnering with Enterprise data organizations various functions
* Lead a cross functional team of data analysts/leads, solution architects and data engineers for solution delivery
* Communicate the overall solution delivery plan and status in working sessions and control tower sessions
* Monitor program timelines, milestones, and team progress to ensure objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and business results are realized
* Determine impact and address scope changes escalated by management and leadership teams and act as final point of approval for contingency plans and scope changes related to work streams.
* Lead effort to identify investments needed to provide solutions for Consumer banking use cases
* Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect reports to inspire high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

* 10 or more years experience in digitization and/or data and analytics solutions in a financial services/banking sector, preferably in a consumer bank
* Strong understanding of consumer banking products and processes
* Strong leadership skills to lead large team of functional and technical resources and matrix partners
* Expertise in digitization initiatives using data solutions and digital product management aspects
* Expertise in Customer data domain, strategy & roadmap development
* Sense of urgency, accountability and agile development mindset
* Requires an extensive knowledge of the system development life cycle, functions and systems, and program management (of multiyear multimillion dollar initiatives).
* Understanding Data integration, Data Quality, data architecture and Master Data Management, project life cycle Phases, best practices and processes
* Strong understanding on enterprise-level Data Integration and Standardization practices and recommendations in financial services
* Clear concepts on Data Governance, Data Quality and its various aspects
* Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment, management skills

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

* MBA preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30AM 5:00PM
