As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape satellite communications systems by managing the system development life cycle of satellite communications data controller software. Your customer will trust you to not only design, develop, and test these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Your Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise will be vital as you to develop strategies for system behavioral analysis, requirements verification. Youll oversee test planning, and interface integration and management for a complex software application that will connect the tactical edge to defense networks. Youll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like modern software development processes like modeling, simulation, data analysis, defense networks and cybersecurity. You will focus on requirements definition and management, as well as test and evaluation by taking advantage of Digital Engineering capabilities. You Have:
-4 years of experience with design, development, and review of systems engineering for software programs
-Experience with using MBSE tools
-Knowledge of enterprise networks, tactical radios, or data transmission capabilities
-Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with narrowband, wideband, and protected satellite communications
-Knowledge of handbooks, instructions, and guidelines for Systems Engineering and test and evaluation
-Knowledge of modern software development processes
-Ability to lead small teams
-TS/SCI clearance
-INCOSE or OCSMP Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
