DESCRIPTION

Do you want to advance the state-of-the-art for robot simulations and robot fleet operations? AWS RoboMaker is a new platform for running robotics simulations and managing robots in the cloud. Were looking for a software development engineer (SDE) to build innovative and powerful new features that orchestrate robotic simulations in dynamic 3D worlds or effectively and efficiently manage fleets of robots in the field.

In this role, you'll be designing, building, and supporting AWS service level features that drive robotics simulation and robotics fleet management at scale. You will design and build new features, identify and investigate new technologies, and prototype solutions, to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Maintaining a work-life balance is important to us. We keep core work hours between 10 am and 4 pm, enabling team members individual flexibility. In AWS, we operate what we build, and we have a modest on-call rotation where youll participate about once every two months.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
