This position is located within the Naval Weapons Station Complex, Yorktown Virginia. The SCA Supply Technician is responsible for the following:

* Performing tasks associated with material receipt, inspection, acceptance, storing, and warehousing material in accordance with Navy Directives and other program unique supply and quality documents
* Functioning as a member of a hybrid government, contractor and USN team
* Maintaining a pre-expended bin and ordnance alteration material inventory system
* Complete receipt inspection and stock received materials
* Support Customer service request for part to support production
* Keep proper inventory records and perform scheduled warehouse inventories
* Utilizing automated information systems to maintain an accurate inventory of material
* Using government provided IT resources, Web based, standalone applications, and manual report generation processes which are integral program support functions

Qualification

* High School Diploma and 2 plus years of additional education, or 5 years rsquo; experience in material management/supply requisitioning or equivalent experience
* Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of problems encountered, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
* Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills, though knowledge of MS Word and Excel
* Ability to qualify as forklift/vehicle operator including DOT physical
* Must be a US Citizen with Current Interim Secret clearance or higher, and the ability to acquire and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* Good working knowledge of the Navy Supply System requirements, policies, nomenclature, work methods and established procedures and guidelines as stated in NAVSUP-P485 or similar experience
* Current DoD clearance level of secret
