Responsibilities and Tasks:

In this role you will be working within a firmware process team supporting the implementation of firmware project management and development processes for a wide ranging set of firmware and software teams. These teams will be working on controllers for SSDs utilizing the latest flash technology and other volatile and non-volatile memory technology.

Within the framework of an Agile approach with a focus on test driven development, continuous integration and very high levels of automation you will be contributing to ensuring we have a system that produces very high levels of firmware quality on predictable and efficient schedules. It will be your job to contribute to the development, maintenance, and updating of the infrastructure required to enable it. We have multiple diverse and geographically distributed development teams you will work with and support. Additionally, you will contribute to development of systems to monitor the adherence and effectiveness of the system.

Experience:

* Experienced in the project management of firmware and software

* Experienced in the firmware/software process space

* Experience of working in a sophisticated technology company

* Experience of the storage industry, in SSD, HDD, storage systems or a related technology

* In depth experience of software and firmware development methodologies

* Knowledge of current state of the art development tools and their real-world application

Education:

* BSEE or equivalent required with 5 to 10 years of industry experience
