The Department
This team is instrumental in engaging with clients, based on the defined Relationship Management Program, to develop deep, positive relationships and increase client retention and overall size of client relationship.
Your Role
The Relationship Manager works to understand strategic initiatives and other client needs, expands clients footprint with other product and service offerings, and is a main point of contact for conflict escalation and resolution. Additionally, this role owns the training functions for key client implementations and professional service requests, ensuring adoption of the application across key areas within our clients businesses.
You will be responsible for:
* Holds accountability and ownership of assigned client relationships engaging with key individuals within each firm, maintaining consistent communication with clients at intervals defined within the Relationship Management Program.
* Reviews product requests and prioritize with each client based on crucial client needs.
* Escalates client urgent issues or complaints, as needed, and follows through until resolution is reached.
* Identifies potential opportunities for professional services or add-on and cross sells. Works closely with sales team when required.
* Communicates effectively with client base on changes coming within the product roadmap. Seeks feedback on upcoming or newly introduced enhancements.
* Identifies clients who are willing to provide additional feedback to our organization in an advisory capacity.
* Assists in UAT testing for new application features based on client needs, providing feedback through support and product channels.
* Conducts client satisfaction surveys and provides recommendations for improving client satisfaction.
* Builds and maintains Client Profile within Salesforce to identify key individuals and areas of responsibility within each firm.
* Accountability for all training efforts for assigned client base, leading to a successful launch of the application and early adoption throughout the first year of the client relationship.
* At the direction of the Director of Client Services, updates training and relationship management documentation as features are introduced or enhanced.
* Reporting line to Director of Client Services.
The experience you bring:
* Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (equivalency through proven career progression will be considered)
* 5+ years experience working in client facing roles within Financial Services or Software (Fintech experience preferred)
* Previous success within a relationship management or sales role, preferred
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation
* Tenacity to engage with executives of medium to large organizations
* Ability to manage difficult conversations while simultaneously deepening client relationships
* Desire for continued self-improvement
