Job Description

Facebooks Enterprise Engineering (EE) is responsible for fulfilling all internal end user IT needs. The EE Ops Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for all data and analytic solutions for all functions within EE Ops. The team is seeking an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking BI. This BI will work closely with business owners to understand, identify, design and implement efficient and effective solutions. As a valued member of the Enterprise organization, this person will focus on all technical aspects of business intelligence, while also provides leadership in managing BI development activities, through a managed service arrangement. This is a full-time position with less than 20% travel required.

Supply Chain Analyst, Business Intelligence Responsibilities

* Translate business requirements and needs into data and analytic solutions, within multiple areas in IT Ops, including customer support and services, supply chain management, technology deployment.

* Leverage data to understand in depth IT business processes, identify areas of opportunity for process improvement.

* Participate in the on-going development of the business intelligence and data warehousing functions within the wider organization.

* Participate in the creation and support of development standards and best practices.

* Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support/enhance BI landscape components.

* Support business processes and projects through data modeling, reporting and analytics.

* Develop deep understanding of analytical data models. An expert in ETL and developing analytic solutions for business, e.g., build rich and dynamic dashboards using Tableau.

* Create training materials to guide business users on how to use dashboards.

* Automate solutions where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent.

* 3+ years of business intelligence and data warehouse experience.

* 3+ years of experience working with an IT Ops or similar business function.

* Knowledge of ETL processes and designs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in developing advance analytic solutions, including forecasting, simulation or AI/ML projects.

* Scripting experience (Python/R/JavaScript/PHP/Perl/Ruby/etc.).

* 2+ years of experience with ANSI SQL/Presto/Hive/MySQL.

* 2+ years of experience creating and defining dashboards and tracking metrics using tools like Tableau.

* Experience in building and maintaining pipelines data and database management.

* Masters/Ph.D., in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain or other analytic fields.
