Demonstrates joy in working closely with a diverse public population=, members of LCMC hospital and medical staff and the community served. Expected to meet and exceed customer service standards: (acknowledge, introduce, duration, explanation, thank you). Provides an initial encounter for patients walking into the Emergence Department to visualize and communicate to the Triage Nurse or member of the Emergence Care Team, presenting patients complaints and/or exhibiting symptoms. Displays organizational and priority setting skills to address competing demands follow hospital policies for patient throughput and escalation as needed. Must be a patient advocate and strong member of the Emergence Care Team.
Additionally, perform clinical, clerical and receptionist duties, in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objections of LCMC.
Provides a basic, EMT, Patient Care Tech, or C.N.A. Level of patient observation noting patient complaint and condition and communicating this observation to the triage nurse to help them facilitate throughput as urgently as possible.

Qualifications
Education required:
High School Graduate
EMT, C.N.A. or
Patient care tech
Licensure/Certification required:
EMT
Paramedic Training
Certified Nursing Assistant and Patient Care Technician
BLS through American Heart
ACLS Preferred
