JOB SUMMARY
North America/ South America -East Regional Program Manager Support

Regional Planner

Ensuring North America/ South America-East alignment with Data Center construction project portfolio schedule controls governance and objectives
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support sites in development of site based project schedules
* Development and maintenance of template schedules
* Support sites in development of a site based portfolio quarterly plan
* Assess site schedule and plans for resource risk
* Perform gap analysis of site based best practice for implementation, training, etc
* Accountable for timely and quality delivery of MARCUS ( Moves, Adds, Renovations, Changes, Upgrades ) governance (semiannual planning, resource planning.

Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress of construction, review status of work completed during the period covered, review that work is generally proceeding in a good and workmanlike manner and in general accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum four or more years' construction administration, architecture, engineering or similar experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of experience focused project management in the mission critical construction industry.
* Previous data center experience is strongly desired but can be substituted with experience in similar critical environments where work involves impact to core functionalities and is governed with a formal change control process.
* Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track design build processes.
* Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives on schedule, and within budget.
* RCDD, PMP, or similar industry certifications are strongly desired.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and ROI. Conducts financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Intermediate skills with Google G suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.

Knowledge of the entitlement/permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements. Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types and systems. Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to the department.
