Job Description

The Programmer Analyst I is the highest-level position in the Programmer Analyst family within the Applications Development track. You will gain expertise within an assigned business unit or function and understanding the business needs and how to address those needs with effective IT solutions. You will provide analytical and technical expertise in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business applications. You will have an opportunity to develop practical alternatives to solve problems and understand business processes and detailed technical specifications!

Key Responsibilities

* Have expertise in assigned development tools with knowledge of systems design techniques and database technologies.
* Provide input to system feasibility studies, including opportunities, benefits and estimates
* Adhere to quality guidelines for meeting project deliverables and standards
* Develop programs of moderate complexity in compliance with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
* Develop and code program logic, debug programs, prepare program documentation and operating instructions, and to test and implement their work
* Plan, estimate, and supervise work in order to complete multiple assignments on time and within budget
* Participate in prioritizing tasks, identifying risk contingencies, provide input into project scope, and providing feedback to management
* Identify barriers to meeting individual project deliverables, and suggest solutions that keep projects on track
* Monitor and report to immediate manager on the status of project efforts
* May participate in multiple small or medium projects simultaneously
* Participate in the assessment of objectives for the assigned project phases and recommendation of technical strategies and tactics to achieve business needs
* Demonstrate the ability to clearly express ideas, both verbally and written, in a positive and effective manner to supervisor, peers and customers
* Participate in interviews with internal and external customers to define requirements and prioritize tasks successfully

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training
* Proficient experience with Microsoft Stack, .NET Framework, C, .NET Core, and Angular
* Minimum of one year experience in systems analysis, design, development, and implementation
* Analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze ramifications in order to implement complete solutions
* Ability to learn and understand a range of architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, and programming languages
* A good understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging (internet) technologies.
* Ability to design applications using the appropriate systems architecture, database structures, and communication, network technologies and business intelligence technologies
* Actively participate and contribute on team assignments
