Advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by supervising the receipt, storing, and delivery of materials, finished goods, level-loads, equipment and supplies to meet internal and external customer needs.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: - Responsible for the direction, flow, and control of the warehousing of raw materials and/or finished goods in a single facility. - Provides functional direction, procedures, and policies to all factory warehouse operations and monitors their performances and compliance to standards. Maintains data and metrics to support and motivate the teams. - Conduct periodic physical inventories and cycle counts, reconcile, make adjustments, and prepare reports for both Parker and consigned inventories. - Interview, hire and train personnel, explain and enforce company rules and regulations, respond to employee complaints, assess performance and recommend changes in employee status. - Administer and encourage a performance-based culture of management philosophy and techniques.
- Bachelors Degree in business or three years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must have demonstrated problem-solving, time management and leadership abilities. - Proficient computer skills. - Must have ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization. Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Will interact with employees at all levels of the organization, customers, and outside contacts. - This position may be exposed to moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. This position may require occasional travel and alternating of work hours.
