WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a 365 Marketing Specialist to work within the Key City Marketing organization! You will play an important role in the growth of the Key City offense by implementing brand storytelling across all marketing channels for one of the most important cities within Nike. Were looking for individuals with a strong attention to detail, who are organized and able to juggle multiple tasks. Its important that youre a proactive, self-starter whos actively looking for ways to improve the brand and the business. Were also looking for leaders with vision who can help us identify new opportunities to innovate and stay attuned to popular and emerging culture trends relevant to our consumer.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will be responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of seasonal plans, executed in tandem across our digital channels (.com, apps, email, social and performance marketing) and our physical touchpoints (Nike Stores and Partners). This will require the development of holistic consumer journeys, working across functions, driving successful campaign launches, development of creative content, and sustaining performance across all activations. You will own the 365 marketing calendar responsible for aligning all of our work and the teams responsible for driving it from concept to creation to consumer.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This is a team sport and will require consistent collaboration, partnership and buy in with critical stakeholder groups to build the Direct Brand offense of the future. You will collaborate with diverse cross functional city teams to go to market inclusive of brand marketing counterparts and any additional related teammates (i.e. media, creative, consumer insights, etc.) While you will work closely with our Brand Management Team on the seasonal processes, you will be responsible for independently managing timelines, deliverables and sustaining phases of the campaign with our Consumer Direct Marketing Team on a day to day basis.
WHAT YOU BRING
* Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a closely related field
* 3-5 years of work experience in marketing (digital and/or experiential) or a related field is preferred
* Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and tactics across key channels including digital apps, email, .com experiences, paid media and social
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
* Strong analytical skills and comfort with using art and science to inform plans and decision making
* Strong understanding of digital analytics and proven capability to use data to drive business decisions
* Previous experience managing a marketing channel for a retailer, combining both online and offline success criteria, is preferred
* Knowledge of the athletic industry and cultural trends in the marketplace with an understanding of the competitive landscape
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the city Los Angeles
* Ability to manage multiple projects at once, strong organizational skills
* Pro-active, Can operate autonomously
* Customer Service experience preferred
* Positive can do attitude, strong team spirit
