The Core Platform Fundamentals team has a great opportunity for a high energy entry Program Manager position who is passionate about building modern experience and engineering systems as well as processes that drive great end user experiences and productivity. Our environment is start-up by nature, where we move fast and learn fast. This is a highly collaborative role, where you will lead the work across the organization and the company and 3rd party teams to define and implement the technology strategy and platform solutions. This role requires strong product thinking, cross group collaboration.
* You define the vision and roadmap for your area, working with a breadth of horizontal teams on defining user centric scenarios on semester basis.
* Work hand-in-hand with design, engineering, to deliver supreme experiences for end users and to influence and aid the development of features.
* Own and represent the progress of work to our executives.
* Define the digital strategy and evolution of digital experiences for Microsoft users
* Formulate our incident management strategy and practices, by partnering with other fundamental teams across the company and by deep diving into our incident response and management data, performing in-depth data analysis and developing plans and recommendations for improvements.
* Work closely with peer PMs and engineering teams on defining and implementing additional features around accessibility, telemetry system and reporting.
* Experience creating and releasing services as a Program Manager/Product owner
* Experience building & reviewing quality features, acceptance criteria, and measurement of feature/scenario outcomes
* Ability to build good framework and models for prioritization, planning and execution for projects in collaboration with stakeholders
* Passion and ability for working cross group and cross organization
* Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
* Experience working in Azure DevOps to deliver on plans via sprints in partnership with a team of engineers
* Previous knowledge working on telemetry, data modeling, analytics, AI is an advantage.
* A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science is preferred
