General Purpose of Job

The Financial Processor Assistant, RPS Payroll Operations will be responsible for processing highly routine retirement plan payroll transactions at the plan sponsor level. This position will perform and deliver on highly routine work for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility in accordance with established procedures/guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Delivers highly routine work and provides general information, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately.
* Escalates issues/concerns to more senior team members and/or management.
* Maintains plan sponsor and participant data confidentiality.
* Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards.
* Monitors incoming work queue and ensures items are completed in a timely manner.
* Performs basic task/transactions related to common programs and services by acquiring core knowledge required for the role.
* Processes assigned highly routine payroll transactions in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner and meeting departmental quality/production standards.
* Provides feedback to more senior team members if changes are needed in the process.
* Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
* Works overtime as needed.

* Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.

Education

* High School or GED - Minimum Required

Experience

* No prior work experience is required
* Previous data entry experience is a plus

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work, accuracy and attention to detail without loss to productivity.
