The Facilities TD (Technology Development) Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, is responsible as the System Owner/Engineer for providing leadership and technical resources to support team technicians, industrial control system maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of the existing system.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Providing facilities construction support to include design input/reviews, construction, and commissioning of new systems including configuration, documentation, and implementation of fully integrated control systems.
* Planning sequence of operations and specifies procedures for cutting, shaping, and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort.
* Demonstrating the application of engineering principles, theories, and concepts in the Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) discipline, while having a knowledge of other related disciplines.
* Checking and verifying instrumentation calculations for control valves, flow meters, orifices, and relief valves as required.
* Conducting tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, specific gravity, pressure, level, flow, and viscosity.
* Establishing and submitting processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.
* Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
* Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or other equivalent Engineering fields. At the Bachelor's level, 5+ years of Instrumentation & Control systems experience is required. Similarly, at the Master's level, it would 3+ years of the same experience described previously.
* 3+ years of experience in standard industrial Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) systems to be able to interact, plan and coordinate the activities of MEP engineers and technicians in support of troubleshooting and/or integrating control changes to their system in order to achieve the required results.
* 3+ years of technical writing experience for the creation of system specs, standards, no-impact plans for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller) and I&C system shutdowns, technical training, and maintenance procedures.
* 5+ years of experience with industry-standard instrumentation devices to include measurement of Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Flow, level, and ultrapure water analytical tools.
* 5+ years of experience developing, designing, testing, and commission new control systems.
* 3+ years of experience developing instrumentation installation drawings, datasheets, P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Drawings) for control systems, and PLCSCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) interface systems in full compliance with recognized industry standards, safety standards, and client specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with industrial automation platforms including GE Fanuc, Cimplicity, and Rockwell Automation Logix (PLC products GE Fanuc SCADA systems).
* Experience with PLC systems such as AB PLC5 and/or ControlLogix hardware, software and Field control loops.
* Experience with standard industry communication protocols including Data Highway+, OPC, Ethernet, ControlNet, and serial.
* ISA Certifications and knowledge of industry standards.
