Job Description

A programming/coding project to help port existing Excel market forecast model to database-based version. Will involve creating front end for visualization and graphing of data; small database for storage/search of data and ability to create relationships between data; and additional tools to enable easy future maintenance of and updates to the model as needed.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

* Quantitative, analytical, and problem solving/conflict resolution skills

* Effective prioritization and time management skills

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related field, and have basic relational database and front end programming experience suitable for successful and timely completion of the project. Flexible on specific coding language choice.


Preferred qualifications:

* 6+ months of experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

* Tableau, Power Bi

* Use of advance IDE such as Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio

* SQL, Java, C, JavaScript, Angular

* Git, Agile Development, Test Driven Development
