As the Senior Vice President, Logistics and Client Success at Insight, youll be responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of various shared services functions and operations functions across our three solutions areas, ensuring client success is a top priority for all at Insight.
There is tremendous capability within our Solution Areas, and while their ability to compete in their space is important, the true power is recognized as One Insight, where we have no competitors. This role is critical in assuring the client experiences One Insight, with consistency across all of the solution areas.
In this role, youll oversee various work streams and departments to drive best-in-class processes and policies, and account alignment on engagement and delivery. To do so, youll be tasked with collaborating with a number of business units to define requirements, drive strategic change and continuous improvement across the organization.
In addition, as a senior-level leader at Insight, youll be responsible to lead with the Insight Leadership Commitments top of mind, and develop your team for growth.
What youll do at Insight:
Client Success:
* Advocate and demand a focus on the clients point-of-view and perspective in everything we do.
* Develop an end-to-end measurement system to understand the overall client experience across functions and solutions areas, with trending.
* Drive, with the appropriate organizations, action plans to deliver a world class, timely, high quality, client experience and manage the governance around these measurement processes.
* Drive consistency and standardization around sales engagement, services engagement and supporting process engagement including ongoing Client satisfaction measurement process (above and outside of contractual obligation SLAs).
* Build client advisory councils around key offer areas including a CIO advisory council, a SW council, a Corporate business council, e-commerce council, to name a few.
* Develop relationships with key clients in each segment of our markets, becoming the executive sponsor for several of our important clients.
* Develop, with the marketing team and the e-commerce leaders, an e-commerce strategy that delivers a world class client experience and revenue/GP growth.
* Oversee the warehouse, integration labs and distribution centers, ensuring a safe operating environment for our teammates and a fast, reliable and optimized environment for our client hardware needs and client integration demands.
* Deliver supply chain operations excellence, as measured by the client.
* Develop metrics for operations that reflect the client end-to-end experience and drive improvement in those metrics.
Operations and Delivery Excellence:
* Lead the Resource Management Organization (inclusive of Solutions Center) and the client-facing PMO across all solution areas, ensuring client success.
* Client facing PMO is responsible for delivering projects on time and on value for our clients. This leader will ensure that the RMO and PMO resources have the resources, training and tools necessary to provide an outstanding client experience.
* Oversee process improvement functions related to client success, including a team of process engineers.
* Drive SLA improvement and improve speed of execution across all operations functions, while ensuring quality is best in class.
* Manage service ops teams across multiple sites and ensure strong labor forecasting to improve our profitability.
Operational Excellence:
* Develop relationships with senior leaders across all solution areas and international equivalents to ensure a balance between business units and markets needs with the requirement to support and drive scalable business processes.
* Determine and drive best practices to assist our solution area leaders convert fixed-fee or project-based services to contracted recurring revenue.
* Strong focus on safety, productivity and retention for warehouse and distribution teammates and operations.
What youll need to join Insight:
* Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university; MBA is highly desirable.
* 15+ years leading business process improvement and/or shared services operations in a high-tech or IT service-related industry or professional services company.
* Must be customer obsessed.
* Must be a self-driven strategic and tactical leader to drive continuous improvement with the ability to operate at both the strategic and where required, detailed level.
* Must be an exceptional leader (by way of our Insight Leadership Commitments).
* Must have a strong knowledge of IT products and services, and partner closely with our Vice President, Services Integrated Offerings and Platform and various leaders of Insight Sales Segments and Solution Areas.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
