Job Title: Residential Dispatcher
Department: Residential Service Department
Reports to: Office Manager
Hours: 7am-5pm, overtime may be necessary during peak season.
General Purpose of Job:
Schedule and dispatch all Residential Service Technicians. Provide support and assistance to the Residential Department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Dispatching
* Checking and approving labor and pricing for Residential Technicians daily in our software system to process for billing and payroll.
* Organization of the next day's schedule of service calls.
* Calling customers with repair quotes to get approval and schedule the repair once approved.
* Provide support daily for the Residential Department
* Manage the technician's paperwork procedures
* Work closely with the Field Supervisor on customer satisfaction, problem jobs and the technician's efficiency.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support the Residential Salesmen and Install Department on new install jobs
* Support the Plumbing Dispatcher
Customer Service Representative (CSR):
* Answer incoming service calls daily and scheduling appointments for both commercial and residential customers.
* Provide our residential customers with a repair history report upon request.
Qualifications:
* 2 years of office experience in an administrative/support role preferred.
* 2 years of dispatch experience preferred.
* Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and organization
Physical Requirements:
* Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
* Frequently bend to file and maintain files.
* Occasionally lift 20 to 25 pounds.
* Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
* Regularly hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm.
