Core Responsibilities

* Will supervise cable installation and removal for primary feeders, secondary mains, and customer services in the underground electrical distribution system.
* Must ensure compliance with operating procedures and engineering specifications.
* Required to manage human resources functions, provide guidance, and ensure safety and environmental procedures are followed.
* Must effectively schedule work and resources to provide adequate support to meet system requirements and customer commitment dates.
* Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

* Bachelor's Degree And 2 years of relevant work experience Performing work on and/or providing oversight for personnel responsible for maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment similar to electrical conductors, meters, transformers, and associated equipment. Or experience in construction, project oversight/management. Or
* Associate's Degree And 3 years of relevant work experience Performing work on and/or providing oversight for personnel responsible for maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment similar to electrical conductors, meters, transformers, and associated equipment. Or
* High School Diploma/GED And 5 years of relevant work experience Performing work on and/or providing oversight for personnel responsible for maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment similar to electrical conductors, meters, transformers, and associated equipment.

Required Work Experience

* Must be extremely well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines Required
* Must demonstrate leadership skills to implement and champion change to enhance productivity, promote diversity and inclusion, and create a zero harm workplace.
* Required
* Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be committed to providing exemplary customer service. Required
* Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of staff and management. Required
* Ability to render sound business decisions using analytical and technical skills. Required
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access & Power Point). Required
* Supervisory experience preferred. Preferred
* Experience with various applications such as Logica, Net RMS, and Byers is preferred. Preferred
* Training in emergency response, confined space entry, clear access, and HAZWOPER a plus. Preferred
* Knowledge of cable installation and removal techniques and an understanding of the underground electric distribution system is a plus. Pref

Licenses & Certifications

* Driver's License Required
* Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Class A Preferred

Physical Demands

* Must respond to system emergencies
* Must work at field locations in all weather conditions
* Must work in an environment that includes heat, noise, confined spaces, and high elevations
* Must work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)
* Must be approved and able to wear either a full- or half-face respirator without facial hair or other condition that may interfere with the seal, in accordance with OSHA regulations.
* Must travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
* Must wear all necessary personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including; fire retardant clothing and safety harness
* Must work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends, and holidays

Other Physical Demands

* Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
