Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will be responsible for the following duties within the facility:

* Committed to producing safe, quality food
* The employee will support production and warehousing groups in sanitation efforts
* Remove trash from production and warehousing areas, sweeps and mops floors, operates floor scrubbers, removed empty raw material containers
* Executes Master Sanitation Schedule to ensure that the interior and exterior of the facility are maintained in a clean and sanitary fashion
* Ensures that the entire facility maintained in a clean and orderly fashion to comply with regulatory and quality requirements
* Performs routine janitorial duties, to include; trash removal, sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of locker room and restroom facilities, cleaning of break room facilities, and cleaning of trucker waiting areas
* Monitor and communicate levels of cleaning chemical and consumable sanitation supplies to ensure proper inventory levels
* Monitor trash compactor
* Performs minor repairs to maintain sanitation equipment in good operational condition
* Performs additional tasks as needed to support efficient operations of the facility
* The employee shall follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
* Ensure actions are consistent with and support plant safety goals and procedures
* Know and perform all sanitation requirements of processing and production; following correct procedures, sanitation processes and safe use of chemicals
* Will perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
