JOB PURPOSE: The North American Regional Sales Support manager is responsible for leading a team of Aftermarket Services Consultants to implement clear go-to-market strategies for specific Aftermarket products and services in the Construction industry. The incumbent will provide managerial and strategic leadership to ensure effective deployment of aftermarket services to achieve annual sales target for the Region. The incumbent will work with Regional Sales leaders to implement sales & marketing strategies on regional growth opportunities.

JOB DUTIES: The key role of this assignment is to provide leadership within the CISD Americas Sales Support Team and business partners to better enable sustainable double-digit year-over-year growth related to Rebuild, Repair and Maintenance products in Retail and Core accounts. The incumbent is both an individual contributor and team leader who has a solid background in Aftermarket with strong communication skills, analytical skills, and a blend of technical and commercial experience. This position requires the incumbent to have effective communication and collaboration skills within CISD, ADSM, PSLD and other internal business partners to ensure a clear understanding of business critical issues and a solid project management to address the issues. This position requires a growth mindset and openness to diverse perspectives in order to best work with business partners to drive effective sales & marketing strategies and to overcome challenges in the North American market.

Basic Requirements:

* Bachelors Degree
* 10+ years of progressively responsible job-related experience in the areas of Prime Product Sales, Aftermarket Sales or Technical Support, and/or Strategic Project Management
* Thorough knowledge of parts and services, product applications, merchandising programs and/or operational practices
* Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed analysis and prepare strategic plans.
* Demonstrated communication at all levels of partner organizations
* Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team or complex strategic initiative
* Able to work effectively in large matrix organization

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Advanced knowledge of the Caterpillar organization, its products, policies and procedures
* Excellent interpersonal skills are a must in dealing with confidential information, sensitive issues and controversial situations
* Prior supervisory experience with positive results on employee experience
* Must be highly adept at developing all types and seniorities of professionals
* Creating behavioral changes in organizations and motivating others inside and outside the Caterpillar to improve performance.
* Experience with Aftermarket Sales Execution tools and Prioritized Service Events (PSE)
