This role under DFT FP&A will support driving the financial and planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis activities for the Display Segment. The person coming into this role will partner with the business segments to enable actionable analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with working on both strategic initiatives, such as enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and with deliverables related to regular business cycles.
This person will help summarize the data related to market trends and drivers, competitors, business unit financials. This person will proactively work with key business partners across the companys finance organization to understand and help further develop reports and processes that are both efficient and can scale with the companys growth. This position will involve analyzing and developing content for Executive Management, Product groups, Investor Relations, and Corporate.
The right individual will have a strong work ethic and desire to continuously learn while using their skillsets and findings to extend/enhance the financial reporting processes as well as analyses.
JOB OVERVIEW
The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing timely and accurate analysis to assist management in its goal of making fact-based decisions. Responsibilities include partnering with Global FP&A and internal finance business partners in DFT Segment level consolidating, modeling, and analyzing financial related data to measure and report on the performance of the business. Additionally, FP&A Manager will lead financial cadence and calendar for total Segment for actuals and forecasting process, Manage Segment Opex and HQ department spending, and business partner to DFT Segment Executive Management in the financial analysis and support of various functions. FP&A Manager will be key leader in driving finance cadence improvements following the recent major SAP transformation in Dec20.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain the Segments financial models (P&L, B/S, and CF) as well as other operational models and reports
* Compile, maintain and present quarterly financial reporting packages to Segment Mgmt
* Lead Segment integration of new Financial FP&A Software and drive Change Management process and communications within the DFT Finance Organization
* Drive adaption of newly implemented SAP tools, reports, and data repositories into DFT finance cadence and business process requirements
* Develop and maintain customized financial reports as requested / required by various business groups
* Partner with Segment finance controllers for forecast and report revenue and expenses
* Manage total segment Opex Portfolio of Investment spending and Capital, issue targets, mitigate escalations for getting back to target achievement
* Identify and develop the business requirements that will be translated into key performance indicators / objectives
* Identify and improve operational inefficiencies within current processes to enhance overall group effectiveness
* Actively seek new tools and ideas to help management better understand and plan our business
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
* Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Power Query with the ability to build / develop complex models
* Strong analytical skill and business sense
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including Executive Levels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
* Minimum 5 years experience, with heavy emphasis in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
* SAP/COPA/BW/BPC reporting package experience a plus
