Sr. Associate, Product Manager, Small Business Card

Within SBC, the High Line Underwriting (HLU) organization is focused on delivering undeniably great products and services that enable our customers with the ability to best manage their credit lines to maximize their growth opportunity.

We are investing in products and services built for heavy spending small businesses, focused on automation through cutting edge technology, business analytics, and a human-focused design lens. Our products and services span the end-to-end experience of line management, including front end user experiences, emerging digital technologies such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR), automated data aggregation and back end case management and fulfillment capabilities.

We are looking for a passionate, skilled Product Manager with a strong technical background to help envision, design, and deliver those capabilities to our internal and external users.

* You have a high level of intellectual curiosity and are comfortable with ambiguity

* You are a fantastic storyteller and are at ease presenting to senior executives that enables transformative leadership and ability to influence change outside of direct reporting structure

What youll do:

* Leverage the expertise of our technology and business teams, along with your drive to understand our users needs, to craft and deliver long-term product visions that enable Small Businesses and Capital One to grow

* Lead a team of software and data engineers to design and deliver data platform features for internal users

* Apply your deep understanding of user and business priorities to make tradeoffs when we have more requests than bandwidth

* Partner with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and others to continuously refine the vision and road-map, and to harvest insights from experiments and product/feature launches

* Work hand in hand with your engineering colleagues to design and operate sustainable, well-crafted software

* Be a critical leader in a large team of product and analytical peers who are collaborating to build breakthrough capabilities that will fuel the growth of Small Business Card.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree or military experience

- At least 2 years of experience translating business strategy into digital products

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2+ years experience as product owner or product manager

- 1+ years experience within an Agile delivery environment

- 1+ years experience in business analysis
