About The Role:

Boston Scientific has significantly accelerated investment in digital marketing communication channels to educate and drive demand for the companys products among healthcare providers and patients. These channels include all media (including social media), email, virtual events/conferences, sales enablement tools, websites and mobile apps. Additionally, advancements in digital marketing technology and customer/patient data capabilities have rapidly progressed creating both new opportunities for marketing impact but also new risks with respect to ensuring the integrity of the Boston Scientific brand reputation.

This position will be part of the Global Digital Marketing team and has the option to be located at our headquarters in Marlborough, MA, or at our facility in Maple Grove, MN.

Your responsibilities include:

Brand Safety Partner with Boston Scientific Legal and Regulatory teams, commercial business partners and advertising agencies to create/update and communicate the companys social media and advertising guidelines for campaign programs .
Serve as the Boston Scientific subject matter expert for brand safety within the organization and primary point of contact for media agency, campaign platforms and brand safety tools (e.g., Facebook Ad Manager) and representatives with Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, etc.
Educate and advise stakeholders about brand safety tools and tactics and support implementation. Create and implement enterprise paid social media , digital display and other required brand safety standards in partnership with Boston Scientific teams and agencies.
Serve as a subject matter expert for customer and patient data privacy and support Legal and Regulatory to ensure that policies remain up to date and adhere to industry best practices.
Serve as the brand safety lead on the Global Privacy Council.
Track, analyze and report campaign brand safety and privacy compliance.
Manage external relationships and contracts with enterprise vendors or agencies related to brand safety and customer/patient data privacy matters.
Lead a company-wide assessment of BSCs marketing content LAAR review process in collaboration with BSC Legal and Regulatory and the divisions leading.

Digital Media Strategy
Consult and partner with Boston Scientific Digital Marketing Managers on digital media performance across channels display, video, custom programs, mobile, paid social, paid search etc.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers in each division to optimize campaigns (and creative content) based on traffic performance and behavior.
Lead testing of new/alternative media tactics in collaboration with media agency and commercial business partners and devise brand-safe media strategies
Consult with BSC Digital Marketing Managers to evaluate and optimize the strategic role and investment of digital advertising within the overall integrated marketing communication mix.
Educate BSC divisions on emerging digital media and technology and their potential to better target BSC customers and patients.
Identify and implement organizational capabilities to track progress, execution, and consistency of digital media.

What were looking for:

Expert understanding of digital media brand safety governance including media auditing and advertising ecosystem (agencies, ad tech vendors and publishers) partner compliance.
Familiarity with customer data and global privacy regulations and future trends.
5+ years comprehensive digital media planning and campaign experience across channels such as display/programmatic, SEM/SEO, social and mobile.
Expert understanding of digital media key performance indicators including lead generation metrics.
Expert knowledge of programmatic ad serving platforms and DSPs.
Ability to synthesize data/results, identify trends/key findings to support actionable decisions.
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time efficiently
A passion for the healthcare industry, digital media and related technology and innovation
Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industry preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal skills in developing relationships and leading by influence.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and challenge the status quo.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
