Lyft is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Manager for worldwide Consolidations to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a talent for fostering teams and building a world class accounting organization that supports rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead Global consolidations process. Ensure Financials statements are prepared as per US GAAP
Collaborate and align business partners to obtain required financial information. Lead improvements to make processes more efficient and effective
Review journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as preparing and/or reviewing financial reporting and flux analysis
Maintaining the integrity of the global chart of accounts and related cross mapping to legacy ERPs
Responsible for ensuring that intercompany transactions have been appropriately implemented and executed per the existing intercompany agreements
Ensure Foreign exchange impact is appropriately accounted and reviewed for accuracy
Responsible for validating system interfaces and troubleshooting consolidation general ledger issues while working with IT
Responsible for identifying and implementing process and system improvements with the goal of decreasing days to close, while also improving team efficiency and scalability
Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & ensuring SOX compliance in areas of responsibility
Support internal and external auditors in the periodic review of the Company financial records 
Responsible for leading, mentoring and developing the accounting team and ensure appropriate allocation of responsibilities

Experience:

BS Accounting and CPA required
10+ years of experience in Accounting, including Big 4 and industry experience; public company experience required. Experience with consolidation, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting required
Solid understanding of general ledger systems and foreign currency translation
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Ability to lead a team in a dynamic environment, managing multiple and changing priorities with ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and proactively resolve problems while consistently meeting deadlines
Proven track record of making improvements in all areas of accounting 
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working in ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
Must be a hands-on leader, have a strong work ethic, excel in a fast-paced environment, and be adaptable to changing responsibilities and priorities
