Ecommerce storage platform provides data storage & computation solutions for eCommerce services to host and manage their data & computation in a cost effective way. Mission critical systems rely of the platform's high performance, throughput, and availability to serve the needs of various customer-facing commerce use cases.

Our team is building a massively scalable, high performance, reliable and cost effective data-centric platform that integrates different storage & caching technologies (tiers) and provides pre-compute, on-demand compute, query and search functionality that is tier-agnostic. Our mission is to enable the business to do interesting things with data at scale and liberate application developers from the burden of managing their storage & compute needs. Our engineers are self-motivated and customer-focused individuals with a good instinct for developing software services with forward looking APIs.

We are currently looking for talented software development engineers to join our eCommerce storage platforms control plane team. You are an ideal candidate if you have strong distributed systems knowledge with experience in web service design & implementation. You should have a sound understanding of Internet protocols (HTTP, DNS, TCP ...) and experience implementing client/server architecture using C++/Java in a Linux/Unix environment. You must enjoy working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment and be passionate not only about building good software but also ensuring that same software achieve its goals in operational reality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of networking protocols and distributed systems - REST Architecture - Data Sharding - Online Transaction Processing - Passion for big, difficult problems
