This position is an integral part of the Financial Reporting team, with primary responsibility over the external financial statements.We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, has a continuous improvement mindset and wants to be part of a great team.

Essential Responsibilities:
Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation and tie-out of all external financial reports including Form 10-Q quarterly and Form 10-K annual financial statements, footnotes and management’s discussion and analysis, as well as other documents distributed externally
Ensure external reporting is in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations, as well as with company policies
Assist with the accounting and reporting of corporate-level transactions, such as share-based compensation, debt, pension, equity, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency
Partner with the corporate FP&A and investor relations team with analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financials as well as various ad hoc requests
Work with business unit accounting teams to identify and evaluate any events or transactions which may require disclosure in the financial statements
On-going monitoring and updating of internal controls and process documentation related to financial reporting, consolidations, equity, and other areas of responsibility to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance
Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits by external auditors
Contribute to the timely and accurate preparation and completion of certain statutory financial reports
Identify and implement process improvements to financial reporting and accounting processes
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA Desired
3 - 4 years of accounting experience, with public company reporting experience
2+ years of public accounting experience
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance
Experience with XBRL, ActiveDisclosure, or NetSuite a plus
Strong US GAAP accounting and SEC reporting knowledge
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and requests with tight deadlines
Strong analytical and research skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player and ability to work and communicate across teams.Ability to work with all levels from senior leadership to staff.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
