Sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations and closure.
What You Will Do:
The Sales Capture Senior Manager for the State of Georgia will manage sales campaigns for top opportunities in the technology domain and will be responsible for day-to-day campaign management, with emphasis on opportunity qualification, win strategy definition/execution, proposal development, orals presentation, and support of contract negotiations. The successful candidate will apply Accenture's corporate strategies, client service group priorities, and formal sales campaign management processes to secure new contracts and deliver sales that meet or exceed financial goals within acceptable risk parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales: Developing, Validating, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities
* Provides solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
* Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
* Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
* Must be able to travel up to 75%
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years in a consultative sales role
* Minimum of 5 years selling and solutioning technology related professional services and/or outsourcing deals to State Government
* Minimum of 5 years Sales Pursuit Management experience
* Minimum of 5 years experience with client relationship and/or delivery experience up to the CxO level
* Minimum of 5 years experience being directly responsible for meeting and delivering an individual annual sales quota
Preferred Qualification:
* Ideal candidates will have selling experience to telecommunication customers. With a strong understanding of the trends related to the industry (technical & non-technical).
* Ideal candidates must be comfortable selling technology solutions and engaging in technical related discussion as part of the sales cycle. Past experience as a hands-on technologist is preferred but not required.
* Experience meeting and exceeding individual sales targets greater than $20MM annually
