The Role
JLL field marketers work closely with Sales around generating new demand with targets and also work closely with regional division presidents and account directors to help grow share of wallet at existing accounts. The East marketer, based in New York, will work adeptly in a highly matrixed environment to focus on understanding account plans, sales targets and become fluent on all JLL enterprise products and services.
The candidate will have broad knowledge across the marketing and communications mix and should have deep experience in working closely with sales teams.
The candidate will also have fluency in digital marketing, account-based and growth marketing. The Field Marketing Manager must be professional, organized and motivated as well as have the drive to succeed in a dynamic, high impact sales environment. The role requires creativity as well as excellent project management and communication skills and a firm grasp on technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Partner with JLLs business line leaders and stakeholders to prioritize and group accounts and prospects according to opportunity, buyer need, persona, industry, buying cycle stage and propensity to buy.
* Communicate and educate the sales and account teams on the new and planned marketing activities happening globally and regionally in order to serve as a key strategic marketing contact for business leaders within the (insert region) geography to optimize the impact of marketing activities
* Focus efforts on engaging companies that are mid-sales-funnel in order to achieve pipeline acceleration.
* Drive engagement, interest, and awareness for identified prospects and buying groups for target companies
* Assist in the development of global and regional marketing plans consisting of multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics. Determine which campaigns and assets to leverage for pipeline development and acceleration within the (insert region) geography
* Successfully analyze and use a combination of qualitative and quantitative insights from multiple internal and external data sources (e.g. data providers, social analysis, engagement scores) to drive marketing decisions for the Central region and identify additional targets.
* Work closely with the regional sales and solutions development teams to have a complete understanding of the (insert region) market and their needs. Communicate this information with our product and demand marketing teams to create highly targeted efforts for demand generation.
* Ensure that leads generated from demand programs are passed successfully and efficiently to the sales teams and addressed appropriately.
* Leverage JLL-branded materials and marketing templates to ensure account-based marketing programs can be developed in a cost-effective and time-sensitive manner
* Innovate and improve our marketing programs by researching and applying new ideas and industry best practices to our efforts
* Collaborate with other local marketing teams as well as national and global partners to share best practices and advance shared means and methods
* Establish strong, trust-based working relationships with all JLL local leaders and national influencers
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or other relevant field
* Minimum 10 years of related work experience, with emphasis on marketing within the professional services realm; real estate industry experience a strong plus
* Understanding of campaign management and demand creation processes a must; experience in executing named account-based marketing strategies a plus
* Proven experience working with sales teams and developing follow up strategies for marketing programs to drive awareness and sales
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Understanding of and commitment to superior client service (internally and externally) with a strong executive presence
* Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
* Track record of sophisticated strategic marketing in the B2B services arena
* Impeccable attention to detail
* High level of resourcefulness
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding work loads
* Ability to identify, communicate and solve problems quickly
* Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel required
* Familiarity with Workfront, Eloqua, Adobe Creative Suite and Salesforce a plus
* Strong digital skills with ability to master new technologies
