Xerox is actively seeking a Systems Engineer for a tremendous opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing green field business units within Xerox at a very early stage and will have significant influence over the architecture and direction of the software development functions of the business unit. Xerox is looking for a senior-level application engineering to define and develop highly complex and emerging technologies in support of a unique 3D printing platforms. This role will be integral in selecting, developing and proving the architecture, as well as managing both internal and external development resources. As the development progresses, will have opportunities to grow and hire a team, based in Cary, NC Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Work Independently to deliver desktop and web-based 3D printing applications components

Integrate multiple components from various sources into 3D printing applications

Define and implement Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

Implement Unit Tests

Implement Functional Tests

Qualifications:

Experience in C++ and/or C

Experience with Agile processes, continuous integration, automated testing

Proficiency with 3D graphics and user experiences preferred but not required (OpenGL, Qt, OpenSceneGraph)

Extensive experience in 3D Geometry is a highly valued plus (Computational Geometry etc.)

C++/C product development including API development and Web Services

3D print software experience is highly preferable

Knowledge of GCode is a plus

Azure Dev-Ops is a plus.

Visual Studio 2019 is a plus

BS (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or equivalent
