What youll do on a typical day:
* Guide and drive the development of roadmap, solutions and resources necessary to deliver on our customer commitments
* Establish and support the execution of processes to meet customer objectives in the areas of resourcing, financial performance, solutions deployment, quality and customer service while maintaining compliance with all applicable internal and external policies
* Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively; take an active role in leading, mentoring and developing staff in accordance with business and cultural objectives
* Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures; work with the planning and analytics team to ensure implementation of tools, applications and processes are met
* Prepare and present data on performance and potential improvements for customer solutions
* Plan and coordinate organizational activities with operational, development and analytical leads to ensure objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management in a supply chain/distribution environment, including forecast modeling, inventory modeling, orders and supply management
Itd be great if you also have:
* Bachelors degree in related field
* Experience in major construction and manufacturing environments
* Experience with major manufacturers of microprocessors including the construction of primary fabrication facilities
* Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources, and develop, recommend and implement solutions
* Demonstrated experience in solutions development, project management, problem-solving techniques and analytics
* Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively mentor, coach and lead a collaborative and diverse group of professionals
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
