JOB SUMMARY:
Works on many aspects of multimedia including pre-production, production and post-production - videotaping, audio recording and non-linear video editing, 2D and 3D animation, and effects, DVD/CD development, PowerPoint and print material design. Works closely with production team (VP and designers) and clients (Marketing, Sales & Management) to design and produce major video, multimedia and print campaigns.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Aids in producing in-house video production projects to produce high-quality video and multimedia.
* Uses design skills to convey message or goals, clearly and creatively in a video/multimedia environment. Brainstorms and creates effective promotional materials.
* Assists in developing, producing and videotaping various presentations for Henry Schein management and sales meetings
* Participates in third-party video and photo shoots. Prepares specifications for outside vendors as needed.
* Works closely with the Web group to design and prepare video presentations for the web.
* Participates in special projects, and perform any other duties as required.

Qualification
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of video production/multi-media experience in addition to or concurrent with advertising and design experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
All levels of video production: Video camera operation, Operating production equipment including lighting and sound, Assembling and setting up equipment, Planning, preparing and interpreting scenes, Video compression and formats. Software requirements include: Final Cut Pro Suite, DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Compressor, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe After Effects, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Suite, QuarkXpress, and Adobe Acrobat programs. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under deadline pressures regularly in a team environment.
Other:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, with a major in graphic design, broadcast communications, video/film production and editing, advertising art and design or the equivalent required.
