We are looking for an Internal Audit Supervisor to join our Gallagher Corporate Internal Audit team. As the Audit Supervisor, you will lead operational audits and assess complex risk. You will be encouraged to mentor and provide direction to audit staff and help us identify ways to strengthen our team. We are excited to welcome a new teammate and get started with 2021 initiatives!

How will you contribute to the business?

* Lead, plan, and execute an audit program that measures, evaluates and identifies improvements in operational controls to meet company policy and maximize efficiency
* Maintain documentation of audit engagements and being prepared to present findings to senior leadership
* Resolve complex audit elements, including issues escalated by Audit management. Design audit programs to accomplish stated audit objectives
* Use sound judgment and creativity when working with others to formulate practical recommendations in response to control concerns and opportunities for improvement
* Coordinate and draft deficiencies and recommendations, including development or revision of complex policies and procedures
* Perform remediation follow up to monitor adequacy and timely completion of remediation plans
* Contribute to appropriate development of the audit team (e.g., on-the-job training, coaching/mentoring, etc.)

Requirements for consideration:

* Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in accounting, finance or related field.
* Minimum of 6 years work experience in public accounting, internal audit, or directly applicable experience.
* Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required.
* Solid staff development/supervisory experience essential.
* Clear understanding of internal auditing standards, COSO and risk assessment practices.
* Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Desired:

* Professional certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.)
