Position Description

The receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, maintaining the facility census book, documenting incoming deliveries, and providing clerical support as requested. In addition, the Receptionist assists with admissions by printing round sheets labels for A&R and Nursing, in addition to supporting other departments.

This position is scheduled to work every Saturday and Sunday, including holidays, and other shifts as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.

Experience: Prefer two (2) years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Weekends are required. Additional availability is highly desired.
