Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property.

Develop and maintain a friendly and focused rapport with premium Far East customers through personal contact and complimentaries to increase player worth.

Executives Far East marketing plans and strategies to help build the Far East customer base and loyalty.

Understands and explains Borgata programs to customers. Emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Borgata Loyalty Card Program to promote customer awareness.

Promote positive public relations and creates an enjoyable atmosphere for all customers.

Responsible for generating gaming revenue through direct mail, telemarketing and networking with new, inactive and existing premium customers.

Arrange and attend on and off-site player events.

Extend complimentary services to players when appropriate and within established guidelines.

Amicably resolve customer related problems in a fast paced environment.

Performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to club host, assisting at the Customer Care Center, front desk assignments, casino promotions/special events, loyalty card and ticket distribution.

Ensure the protection of customers rewards and credit lines.

Comply with all departmental and Company Policies including Borgatas business ethics guidelines.

Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements.

Maintain confidentiality of all Borgata trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.

This position issues comps but does not comp above that level of Director which requires a non-casino key employee license in accordance with N.J.A.C. 19:41-1.1.

Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

College Degree preferred with an emphasis on Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent field preferred.

Five to ten years Casino Operations, Marketing, or Sales experience required.

Advanced customer service and problem solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and sales skills required.

Computer related experience desired including AS400, CMS, and/or ACSC systems.

Ability to independently maintain high levels of productivity.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas.

Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
