Overview

Bring your skills as an experienced property management professional to a growing Fortune 500 retail company and certified Great Place to Work! As Property Management Specialist , youll help manage the landlord/tenant relationship for over 760 retail locations from lease inception to termination.
A minimum of 5 years of retail property management experience, along with solid knowledge and understanding of retail leases, is required. Understanding of building/facilities operations is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required; experience with Service Channel and Oracle is preferred. After hours and weekend on-call is required.
Responsibilities include:
Lease Administration/Property Management:

* Interpret, administer and enforce lease covenants and provisions to ensure Landlord / Tenant compliance while maintaining strong relationships

* Communicate effectively with stores, field management and landlords and internal departmentsfor Landlord related property management issues, such asroof, structure, parking lot conditions, etc.

* Prioritize all items, provide telephone follow up and written correspondence as needed, and track status through the Service Channel and Lucernex systems.

* Assist in developing and maintaining pro-active strategiesto resolve property operational challenges

* Communicate with Landlords regarding tenant improvement projects such as remodels, signage replacement, HVAC replacements, etc., in support of operational groups such as Construction, Facilities.

* Manage Burlingtons tenant requests for special work and assist in coordinating and obtaining estimates, provide proposal, order work, and invoice tenant for such work.

* Respond to emergency after-hours calls via phone and computer as required.

* Special projects as required

Reporting/Compliance:

* Prepare Landlord / Tenant / Sub-Tenant waiver letters, letter agreements and dispute / settlement agreements as necessary.

* Work with the Legal Department to resolve Landlord / Contractor disputes and insurance claims as required

* Coordinate all Burlington Tenant possession and termination liabilities

* Provide weekly update on status and resolution of property management related issues
