Job Description
* Job Responsivities:
1. Load / Unload trucks as directed by your supervisor.
2. Spot distribution trailers as requested.
3. Perform pre operational Inspections of spotter tractors.
4. Wash / Sanitize trailers as instructed by your supervisor.
5. Perform other duties as requested by your supervisor.
6. Ensure spotting tractors are house / plugged in during cold weather.
7. Ensure dock area is kept free of snow/ice build up.
8. Complete other duties as assigned.
* Minimum Qualification
1. Proof of Class A CDL Licnese
2. Medical card
3. 1 year driving experience or a certificate of completion.
4. Ability to lift 40 - 50 pounds occasionally.
5. Ability to drive and back a yard tractor and trailer into tight bays safely.
6. Ability to read schedules and vehicle inspection reports.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, plant personnel, and others on a daily basis.
8. Able to work in upper Midwest outdoor environment year round.
9. Physical ability to hook and unhook trailers, including cranking landing gear up and down, throughout the shift.
10. Able to work, without direct supervision the majority of the time.
11. Ability to withstand below zero temperatures daily.
12. Ability to withstand hot / humid temperatures daily.
13. Able to read and write English.
