If you are a Sales Enablement professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Knoxville, TN location, you will be responsible for supporting sales effectiveness through the generation of customer and product specific sales metrics, sales tools, sales trainin and videos. You will also support the sales channels with various needs such as technical training, support, competitive positioning, sales collateral, and communicating product solution needs to product management.
AS A SALES ENABLEMENT ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
* Provide support and training for global sales and services channels with Reliability Solutions products and services, including sales indoctrination, on-boarding, and inside sales trainings on Plantweb Optics Platform, AMS Device Manager and AMS Trex offerings.
* Support global sales channels with on-site sales training or customer facing visits to support the global channel's technical sales needs.
* Support and answer incoming technical questions from AskPSS escalations, Reliability Rangers, and global sales channels.
* Create new and manage existing content for the Reliability Solutions Hawk Sales Portal for Plantweb Optics Platform and PAM products and solutions.
* Provide product positioning and competitive tools to the global sales channel as required
* Create customer facing sales tools for Plantweb products and solutions
* Create sales promotions and materials as needed
* Work with Marketing Communications to create new sales collateral, content for website, and content for advertisements, when needs are identified through the sales channel
* Support new product roll outs from a sales training and business development perspective (i.e. regional sales launches, webinars, Champs messages)
* Support customer visits to the Knoxville Reliability Solutions Center (Technology Information Support Exchanges, Product Demos, generic customer visits) as an SME as needed
* Support and manage the Operational Certainty Solutions demo installations at various locations
* Perform regular Plantweb and PAM product demonstrations for sales and customer
* Publish application papers and technical whitepapers in periodicals and social media
* Work with customers to publish application papers and customer success stories with the use of Plantweb Optics Platform and PAM products and solutions
* Promote the Plantweb and PAM products through social media
* ~25% travel required (domestic and international) and will be on an as-needed basis for training of world areas and on-site training of sales and services resources
* After normal business hours work times for supporting global time zones will also be expected for webinars, training sessions, and other communications as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* B.S degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
* 1-3 years experience in Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, or other relevant areas
* Working knowledge on IoT platforms, cloud-based environments, remote connectivity, edge devices, data analytics, data lakes, cyber-security, VPNs, VM servers, firewalls, thin clients, IT infrastructure and architecture
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* Strong knowledge of Reliability Solutions portfolio (Plantweb Optics, AMS Device Manager and AMS Trex
* Technical sales experience
