Do you want to be part of a culture that inspires people to think big, perform with excellence, and build incredible products that support our war fighters? Come join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA where we are currently searching for a Business Systems Manager to support SCIP Database processes, ERP interface tool developments, and database sustainment activities across our Mission Systems business unit.
Job Description and Summary:
As the Business Systems Manager, you will serve on the cross-SBU team responsible for the development of a data extraction tool designed to deliver formatted data from our ERP systems to the SCIP Database in compliance with a new European Union (EU) REACh regulation called the Waste Framework Directive (WFD). The WFD requires manufacturers to enter a set of data for each delivered product (top levels & service/repair level products) into the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) SCIP database. As some of the required data may not already reside in our ERP systems, you will lead Engineering and New Product Development Hardware teams to collect this data and design a vehicle for ERP upload. You will also be responsible for other ERP-interfacing REACh projects.
We must comply with the requirements of REACh (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) which is a European Union regulation that addresses the production and use of chemical substances of very high concern (SVHC), and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment. * Drive and be responsible for all Mission Systems and Avionics initial SCIP database data entry efforts for all products shipping to the EEA once the automated extraction and formatting tool is in operation.

* Coordinate with Component Engineering to get spec decomposition data uploaded into our -0147 tool so this data is available to CDCR.
* Coordinate with Tech Pubs to get the Component Maintenance Manual and Service Bulletin (CMM/SB) data uploaded into CDCR.
