Nurse Practitioner General / Bariatric Surgery Practice Needed in Western PA 1 hour from Pittsburgh
Opportunity Details
Steward Health Care facilities Sharon Regional Medical Center seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assess, plan, and provide patient care under the direction of surgeon. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing patient histories and physical exams, seeing patients in the office setting, performing in-office procedures within the scope of practice, and prescribing medications and ordering tests as needed. Will see post surgical follow-ups in clinic, prior experience in working in general surgery or bariatric practice is strongly preferred.
Communicates and consults with the supervising physician regarding the medical status of patients, and communicates with patients and family members effectively, providing appropriate education. Maintains a working relationship with the interdisciplinary team, including RNs, Physicians, and others. Relies on experience and clinical judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Sharon Regional Medical Center, a 220 bed Hospital in Western, Pennsylvania just 1 hour north of Pittsburgh.

Nurse Practitioner
Requirement Active PA/ Licensure Nursing Degree, MSN from an accredited recognized program.
