As Manager of UX Design Systems, you will be responsible for the design build out of Prudential Evo Design system and marketing playbook, This critical role will partner with the VP of Design in the support of the Prudential brand and all the digital assets responsible for building digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
* Partner with brand and creative design teams in the build out of patterns and digital prototypes.
* Assist other design teams in the creation of reusable design assets between Prudential & PGIM sites.
* Help maintain design system roadmaps and help prioritize design system back-log
* Identify and empathize with customer needs, motivations & behaviors and let those inform design decisions
* Work well with business analysts and successfully incorporate business requirements/goals into customer-centered experiences
* Analyze user research findings and solve for pain points with better experience design
* Advocate for the transformed UX Brand & Process, providing guidance to project owners, vendors, other UX teams across the organization as needed
* Collaborate productively with senior design and technical staff as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team
* Demonstrate strong self-management skills and envision solutions for anticipated challenges
* Keep current on UX trends and philosophies to bring energy and fresh approaches to each project
* Work with other teams to create and iterate concepts on short Agile timelines

Relevant Experience:
* Minimum 5+ years of user interface design experience with strong knowledge of information design principles & methodology
* Demonstrated experience working on Mobile First/Responsive UI, including mobile apps
* Experience with complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata
* Basic understanding of current Web languages and frameworks
* Demonstrated experience using web analytics to inform design decisions
* Detail-oriented, with highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Experience working with Dev/QA staff and vendors to insure proper implementation and testing of features and functions
* Experience with delivering great work in an Agile environment
* Demonstrable experience of explaining design ideas and concepts in a way that people of different backgrounds can understand
* Demonstrable experience of how to interpret qualitative and quantitate research
* High level of experience with recognizing complex business challenges
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Working collectively and autonomously with cross-functional teams
* Solid understanding of Information Architecture, taxonomy, language and content matrixes
* A design related degree or relevant experience in designing products and services
* Experience working across multiple business units
* Demonstrable experience on how visual form and experience function work together
* Experience working in lean and or agile environments
* Basic front-end development integration and enablement knowledge
* Ability to translate outputs and outcomes into compelling written presentations
* User research: preparing prototypes, conducting testing, analyzing findings
