Information Systems Security Officer, Lead

The Challenge:

Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to government agencies and military organizations. In all of this cyber noise, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you an information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As an information security risk specialist on our team, youll consult for the DoD by leading the discovery of their cyber risks, understanding applicable policies, and developing a mitigation plan. Youll oversee the analysis of technical, environmental, and personnel details from the members of your team as they review the entire threat landscape. Then, youll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones. Your client will rely on you to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission critical systems and infrastructures. This is your opportunity to take a leadership role in information security while sharing your skills in cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) with both clients and your team. You Have:

-Experience with the analysis of enclave Cybersecurity policies

-Experience with evaluating proposals to determine if proposed security solutions address enclave requirements effectively

-Experience with the evaluation of cost benefit and risk analysis

-Experience with interpretation of patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and overall effectiveness of the enclaves Cybersecurity program

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with authorization actions concerning software development and testing

-Knowledge of intelligence community cybersecurity requirements

-Knowledge of the configuration management of military software, including source code, documentation, and fieldable products

-Knowledge of DoD security and program protection and declassification operations

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
