Network Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Navy to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Navy needs.

As a network engineer on our team, youll help build and maintain a reliable network to support the warfighters of our country. Youll work with subject matter experts, commanding officers, and project managers to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Youll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, youll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:

* 3+ years of experience with network administration
* 3+ years of experience with enterprise networks
* Experience with maintaining critical worldwide communications systems
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* HS diploma or GED
* IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

* BA or BS degree in CS or Engineering
* MCSA or MCSE Windows Server 2008 Certification
* MCSA or MCSE Windows 7 Certification
* CCNA Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
