Network Administrator
The Challenge:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the US Army to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network US Army needs.
As a network engineer on our team, youll help US Army design, build, evolve, etc. a reliable network to support critical missions, our national defense, etc. Youll work with SMEs, customers, users, to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Youll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, youll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:
  * 5+ years of experience with network administration
  * Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating hardware, software, and network-related problems
  * Experience implementing and managing network policies, procedures and standards and enforcing security procedures
  * Experience with designing, building, and implementing network systems. procedures.
  * Experience with implementing, administering, securing, and troubleshooting VoIP phone systems to include call managers
  * Ability to develop, maintain and implement network support, and archiving procedures
  * Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan
  * Ability to obtain a security clearance
  * HS diploma or GED
  * Network+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
  * Experience with problem solving skills, including identifying problems, determining accuracy and relevance of information, using sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and making recommendations
  * BA or BS degree
  * CCNA Certification
  * Security+ Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
