Program Administrative Support Specialist, Mid
Key Role:
Provide administrative support in a program office. Manage day to day operations, ensuring they run smoothly and are efficient and effective. Provide schedule management support, including maintaining schedules, presentations, and correspondence for the program office. Provide administrative services, including meeting coordination, typing meeting minutes, and preparing visit requests and correspondence to ensure proper format, routing, and filing. Support travel management functions including arrangements, approvals, conference administration, reimbursements, and general customer assistance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Experience with operating office equipment, including copiers, scanners, printers, and fax machines
* Ability to coordinate travel arrangements and process post-travel vouchers
* Ability to coordinate meetings, meeting agendas and presentations, reserve conference facilities, take meeting minutes, and record and track action items
* Ability to type, proofread, and merge documents and correct incorrect grammar
* Secret clearance
* HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with program support, BA or BS degree and 5+ years of experience with program support, or MA or MS degree and 3+ years of experience with program support
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience with the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
* Experience with supporting Navy programs preferred
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
